Who We Are

We are the Norfolk Chapter of the United States Junior Chamber (Jaycees).

We are a community service and leadership development organization for men and women between the ages of 21 and 40, serving the Norfolk community since 1924. We develop the next generation of community and business leaders by providing members opportunities to participate in and lead community service projects, business and personal skills, training, and social events.

Because of the variety of events, people join the Jaycees for many reasons. Some join for the leadership development. Some join for business networking, while many join to make new friends and just have fun.

The Norfolk Jaycees are members of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, offering you opportunities to network with others in the business community. You can participate in any of the Chamber's events at the member rate. A listing of their calendar of events and/or benefits can be found here.

As a member of the Norfolk Jaycees chapter, you are also a member of the Virginia Jaycees, United States Jaycees (USJCs), and the Junior Chamber International (JCI). We help people through - Leadership Development, Personal Growth, and Community Involvement.
