Community Service

Make A Difference!

Community service is what we do best. Whether running sports skills competitions
such as Pitch, Hit and Run, or Punt Pass and Kick, helping to
Save the Bay (www.cbf.org), or bring a smile to a child's face during our
EdMarc Hospice Fall Festival we make an impact. You can too!

Fundraising projects support Camp Virginia Jaycee, a camp for persons with mental retardation, and our chapter's service activities. Our members become leaders in the community in the process, providing a voice and a vision for the future.

"OPERATION MAID RAID"
Throughout this year, the Norfolk Jaycees will be collecting single-use/travel size toiletries for the St. Columba homeless day shelter.

The following items will be collected:

Soap - Toothpaste - Shampoo - Conditioner - Lotion - Razors - Combs

The next time you go on vacation or stay in hotel, consider bringing back the complimentary soaps and shampoos to donate to the St. Columba homeless day facility. They could really use our help! Items are collected at each meeting.
 

MONTHLY COMMUNITY SERVICE DRIVES
Throughout this year, the Norfolk Jaycees will be having Community Service Drives to support an area in need in the Norfolk Community.  Please see our monthly calendar of events for the Drive information!
